I guess this is what is known as a "partial" score.
Just like that.. It's 8-3 Hogs.

Arkansas brought in their all-american closer, SEC Player of the Year, and winner of a couple national POY honors already (Kopps) in the 4th inning. Their experiment going with their #4 starter did not go so well.

Or poor typing skills.

#22 Duke 6 - Liberty 11.

And Arkansas now up on NJIT 10-3 in B6.

Correct!

As at ~3:15 in this video (The full sports report starts at 2:36):

Quite the donnybrook here at the Disch. The Jesuits holding on to a one run lead over the Devil's going to the 9th. Sparse crowd.
CUSA goes 3-1 on day 1
Wright State dropped a heart breaker in Knoxville. With a three-run lead in the bottom 9th, they gave up a one-out walk-off grand slam to the Vols, 9-8.

This was predicted as Gonzaga has an elite Friday night starter. Also, wasn't Gonzaga the higher seed?

And the Devil gets his due in the 9th.

Wrong call on the foul ball/HBP that brought the tying run in, but it still reminded me too much of a Rice game in the 2015-2017 time frame. Something about the teams I root for!
A couple of scores of note early Saturday.

USM 20 - SEMO 0 - delayed in 7th. Umm, I think they should just call this one.

South Alabama 14 - #14 FL 1 in T7. Wow.

Central MI 7 - MI 1 in B7. Gotta pull for the non-P5s!

South Alabama put up 10 runs in the 6th, all with 2 outs, by playing a lot of small ball. Lead-off walk, next two outs, then six straight singles, pitching change, double, and then three more singles. This whole time, Florida had only one error, a throw by the right fielder on the very last single. The NCAA game tracker is garbage, but no less than 9 of those runs were earned, probably all 10.

Oh, and then South Alabama opened their side of the 7th with back-to-back home runs and continued a few batters later with a three-run shot. 19-1 with 1 out, bottom 7.

When is the last time a #1 seed and regional host went 2&Q?

It’s probably happened more recently but I can vividly remember Florida State doing it several years ago.

Actually, it was Oregon State in 2019 (the last post-season held).

I was thinking of 2018 FSU.

Lost game 1 to Samford and lost game 2 to Mississippi State.

No run rule in NCAA tournament play, it seems. USM singled in a run in T9 before closing out the 21-1 (hits: 24-4) victory.
