Beat me to it.

Looks for Andy Kennedy to be at the top of the list to replace Ehsan at UAB.
Alum and was also an an assistant.

Source: UAB has parted ways with Rob Ehsan. Won 19 games this past season and 20 the two years prior.

Some pity party stuff already begun.

Obviously, Kennedy is first name coming up.
This is a terrible joke.
To make the decision this quick, Ingram must have had this in the works for awhile. I bet Ehsan had to win the CUSA tournament to keep his job.
Don’t make a hire based on the fans. Look around first and get this right. Some really good coaches that need some phone calls.

Of course, I understand you may have donors in your ear saying hire this or that guy. But, your own job security depends on this hire now.
A ray of sunshine on a dreary day.

Time to rebuild this program. Go Blazers!
Glory days!

It's probably been Andy for a couple of months.
Good news! Now hire Kennedy!
That’s certainly the vibe I’m getting from basketball media and scouts on twitter.

I do want to look at coaches who’ve had much more success before just writing this in stone.
Jeff Goodman @GoodmanHoops
I’m honestly not sure there’s an easier hire this coaching carousel than Andy Kennedy to UAB.

Just noticed Al.com deleted their comment sections. I won’t go there as to why I think they did. That’s for the Spin Room one day.

Agreed. I don't think Mark makes this move unless he knows he can get Kennedy.

And if his Ole Miss contract is still in effect there is probably a financial offset that could lessen his UAB salary, at least initially...
It’s been in the works a while and I know some that were contacted / contacted through a third party a couple weeks ago.
I don’t want Kennedy but it will be an improvement
Such a tease, pawl. 03-wink
I hate this for Ehsan on a personal level, but it was the right move for UAB. I am hoping there are more candidates than just Kennedy. Would love a Rondald Nored
