I go with the guy that got you there. I start out and try to establish the run with Dez. When that bogs down, I bring in the relief pitcher.
We put in Ridder for running plays and Bryant in for passing plays.

Maybe Memphis wouldn't notice.

Other than that, I have no idea what to do.
Bryant and it's not even close. Having to defend the entire field makes a huge difference since Memphis was more than willing to run blitz to neutralize the run. Need to be smarter on first down play calling and stay on schedule with down and distance. Bryant made mistakes that will get ironed out with more experience. Unfortunately for him, due to the short sightedness of the staff he's getting blooded in against our toughest opponent twice.
I think you will see both.

Agreed. If Dez can play he should go in some and Bryant should go in some. Would love to see them both on the field together for a play or two. Two headed monster to keep the Tigers guessing and on their heels.
Ive been saying it since last year I think Ridder is a below average QB. Bryant can make passes that Ridder can't. The difference to me is dramatic. Bryant is a P5 level starter, and Ridder is a MAC level starter.
We could have used Ridder in the run game for sure. Hopefully both play.

Ridder and Bryant give the offense different looks and forces Memphis to adjust on the fly. We should use both if Dez is available.
Agreed with others. A two QB system is not a long term viable solution, but for this game, I think it could give Memphis a lot of trouble.
And if Ridder looks good, you have him on the field if/when we are on a game-winning type of drive. But give Bryant a chance to open up the field on some drives as well.

There have been teams that have used 2qb effectively. I think using Des in short yardage wildcat type stuff could be effective.

I agree on Des. We've got three years and over 20 starts of evidence. He's not an AAC level starter. When you're a division leading team and your QB is consistently outplayed by QBs from bottom of the standing teams that should be end of discussion.

It's too early to say on Bryant but I'm more encouraged by his first start than I have been in two full seasons from Des.

+1. I really believe that Truck's 6 yards a carry had a lot to do with Bryant making Memphis defend the entire field. Have a little more confidence to let him throw on early downs and you may have a dangerous offense to defend.

Running outside against Memphis seemed easier than between the tackles. RPO stuff and jet sweeps can work.

Would love to see more Tre Tucker the last 2 games
We rushed for 17 yards less than our average and passed for 50 yards more than our average against the second best team on our schedule. I think you know what my answer is.

Yes! Shocked he didn't get more plays called his way yesterday. His run around end almost broke it to the house. The dude runs a 4.3 forty.

Yep. Michigan just scored on a 20 yard jet sweep to WR.
It seems like the Tre Tucker jet sweeps have just been used to keep the defense honest. Id love to see it used 3+ times a game as a weapon

Tony Pike him! Red zone situations.
I don't know if it matters if we run up the middle every first down.
