What do you want us to get from this link? What does this even mean? "Saved for later"?

Safe for liberals - it's from CNN. I didn't want you and/or others to think it was from a right wing source and so skip it.

I want you to listen to what this black, former mayor of Philadelphia has to say about "woke" white people, and what he has to say about the crisis of violence in that city, and what he has to say about police and what he has to say about the "progressive" DA. As for what you "get" from watching this short interview, that's up to you. Whether it reinforces or contradicts your currently held opinions, I hope it just broadens your world.

Lol - I didn't realize you were out here crusading to educate the heathen liberals who are stuck in a bubble and need their worlds broadened.

I'm noticing a rather arrogant and condescending trend here, which is that conservatives posters keep assuming the liberal posters on this board have narrow world experiences and are therefore biased against or ignorant of people they suppose we haven't grown up around. If only we had OO in our lives sooner to "broaden [our] world."

Already answered. You could have watched it in the time you have spent protesting.

Well, I guess you can broaden your world by ignoring what this ex-mayor has to say. All I can do is show the horse where the water is.

Is this a discussion forum? How will we ever discuss anything if it is verboten to bring up topics and comments and other people's views?

As for the trend you are seeing, I see it too - from the other side. How smugly they assume we are just racist wahoos who "cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations," (Obama).

Again... posting a link with zero context is not super-attractive. In fact, I thought it was outlawed?

Also... the "safe for liberals" snark also doesn't add to our eagerness to engage with your blind links.

Ah yes, that trend is so prevalent on this board that you have to quote someone who hasn't been president for 5 years with a quote from 2008.

Wow, great proof you've got there to show how the other side on this forum is acting smug... lol

I guess you smugly assume that after an exhaustive search, that was the best I could do. It just came to mind quickly.

Ask any of the other right wingers or middle grounders - this attitude is prevalent from the left that we are just racists. I could flood this forum with quotes from MSN, but who would read them? Obama just said it so succinctly, and he was PRESIDENT(!), AND STILL IS A MAJOR LEADER in the blue team.

But I have a question - why did you assume I was talking specifically about THIS BOARD? I was speaking of the left wing in general. If anything, the leftie posters on THIS BOARD are a cut or two above the average left-winger, with one exception.

You and 93 and the other occasional leftist posters here are all different from each other, as I am different from Numbers, Tanq, Ham and George,, and all the other more occasional right wingers who post here. If I were to level complaints about you or 93, I would do it individually. Neither of you have called me racist that I can remember. Others have.

In general though, there are lots of Blue team members who accuse anybody on the right of being racist or white supremist. I guess you will just have to live with that. We right wingers certainly have. Water off a ducks back.

Maybe he should have labeled it SF93?

First you complain that a source isnt 'good' for you in a broad complaint, now you get 'snarked off' by a labeling that is not something you should complain about the sourcing. Sounds fun.

This is much like a story I read about where a chick breaks into a house inhabited by bears, and *just* cant find the right temperature of soup to steal.

Bear was my college nickname, so that's OK.

It's not water off a duck's back when you guys mention/complain about it constantly!

Do you think we are making it up? It happens constantly. Just not so much from you two.

I meant that we righties are so used to being called racist/WS that we might as well be called white devils. No biggie, just the expected stuff.

No biggie… yet constantly posts about it…

Yes, that certainly isn’t a big deal or issue to you…

People from both sides deal with the unfair and unfortunate biases of people from opposing views. But when we are having back and forths on here and speaking about specifics of how we are interacting with each other, that isn’t really relevant.

I levied a specific complaint about posters on this board, and you countered it with a complaint about liberals in general. It didn't seem logical to me to counter with a broader criticism that isn't relevant to activities on the board.

Well, as long as you are logical...how can you go wrong? Spock for President.

Took me about 5 seconds to find one that didn't involve a former president.

Now, Garcia-Lopez has resigned from her position and said she could not allow the 'vile and relentless attacks on me by white supremacists to distract from the pursuit of equity in the Fort Worth Independent School District

The horrible crime of those white supremacists? Opposing mask mandates.

Not making it up.

AOC

Sorry about two NY Post articles, but there seem to be a lack of reporting on this by left wing sources.

more AOC

Pelosi

Biden

Just google any Democrat leader along with "white supremacy".

What point that I made do you think you're refuting by posting this and the other articles?

My guess is, you misunderstood my point, so it would be good to clarify things.

I don't think that you are making it up and I also don't think you know what "water off a duck's back" means.

Well, I guess you can broaden your world by ignoring what this ex-mayor has to say. All I can do is show the horse where the water is.

Is this a discussion forum? How will we ever discuss anything if it is verboten to bring up topics and comments and other people's views?

Again... posting a link with zero context is not super-attractive. In fact, I thought it was outlawed?

Also... the "safe for liberals" snark also doesn't add to our eagerness to engage with your blind links.

Well, I seem to remember it was *you* that complained about Washington Examiner sourcing. Or did I misattribute?

Maybe he should have labeled it SF93?

First you complain that a source isnt 'good' for you in a broad complaint, now you get 'snarked off' by a labeling that is not something you should complain about the sourcing. Sounds fun.

This is much like a story I read about where a chick breaks into a house inhabited by bears, and *just* cant find the right temperature of soup to steal.

I will take your criticism under advisement, Westlaw.

Not a criticism, just a comment.

And, you are free to take it however you will, Raymond.
