It's sick that several disgruntled former athletes from cut sports are tweeting to prospective 2019 recruits not to come to EMU. How laughable since it won't have an impact on their decision; however, you can play a role with a positive tweets to recruits as follows:
"Congratulations on your EMU offer, ________(fill in blank)!!
You won't find a better person or coach to play for than Coach Creighton!!
Watch the EMU Eagles win the 2018 MAC with our dominating defense!!!
Go Eagles!"
That's what I've been tweeting recruits. Eagle Nation should tweet our recruits because it does help......

Some people are blinded by anger and can't see the big picture. The sense of entitlement does them no favor.
Keep posting positive replies. Drown out the negative folks.
Is it me, or are we putting out more offers than usual?
We are, what I want to see is actual verbal commits. CC, his staff and program should be known qualities at this point in time. But of course there is the stuff that is outside the program that dims that perception.

I will check but last year we did not get our first verbal until June. (EDIT: Jackson was early but commits #2 and 3 were late June 2017).
I may (NOT sure) but CC doesn't extend binding offers until after the recruit's junior (in SCHOOL) is over.
Right? Wrong?
Some coaches want to see full junior year academics.

....and are we ever going to have a Championship Building Plan published and executed???? Promises that were already made to 2018 commits......

Once again, that issue has been addressed by a poster. The preliminary work has begun.
This isn't like building a dog house in the back yard. Nothing happens quickly in construction and the bonds for this and other projects were authorized only last December, if memory serves me correctly.
Yes, as mentioned in the other thread, the contractor has been chosen, and surveying and soil testing is being performed by the football building.

Yeah, extra offers worthless if you can't land them. Seemed like we had a little momentum with last year's class, and the building plan. Now......not sure? Hopefully it picks up in June. Would be nice to get some public info out there about the building start, progress, etc., that Creighton could really use as a carrot.

I hear you. The big question is when do they officially have the ground breaking?
That's when the statements from EMU can go out and the FB staff can circulate it to stakeholders, recruits, the public, etc.

He holds 16 offers and are now #17. Some offers are B1G.
His parents are EMU graduates.
This one will be interesting.

Originally a Belleville kid. Glad the MHSAA is changing the rules about transfers.
