Sounds like a decent get. I don't remember seeing her play but I didn't see much last year. We need all the help we can get. If she hasn't played any this year she might be able to play second semester. CoC doesn't have the best coaching so maybe she'd improve here.
It looks like she played one game, so a similar situation to Claire Neff at Clemson last year. Hopefully she can join the team in January.
It occurred to me that her stats may reflect playing time. If that's the case, not to worry. And CoC doesn't exactly have the best record in the CAA, so........
We got another commit today, a 5-7 guard from Japan/recently moved to a 7A Georgia high school in suburban Atlanta. Averaging north of 20 ppg against tough competition. Recruiting was a bit weird due to not being in the country but putting up impressive numbers in her second year in the US.

Also a transfer from MTSU, 6-4 forward from Russia who didn’t play much.

Well, we definitely can use another PG to spell Bailey Smith next year. Bailey is very flashy but doesn't always have the best ball control....yet. And just who IS this forward?

Her name is Kseniia Kozlova

What I meant was, stats and the like. She's only a sophomore and you are aware of what Geno says about big girls. For as long as I've followed WBB, I tend to agree with him. I think Coach Ian can do something with her.
Noticed the Russian transfer from MTSU, Kozlova, was with the team today at the Elon game. She looks like she needs to do a lot of weight work...skinny kid. Hopefully she moves well around the basket, though.
Hopefully she gets a waiver to play this year like Claire Neff had last year.

Thanks for the identification. We wondered who she is and figured she is one of the new transfers.
I figured it out from the height, also had looked her up. Did not see Amira Williams, though. Maybe she hasn't arrived on campus yet.

Not really surprised about Bailey going into the portal. Sad that Jailyn won't be back, she was always great fun to watch with her energy and drive.

I read this article on WHSV on a local young lady who seems to be quite good, and note that J<MU has already offered her. https://www.whsv.com/2022/06/22/recruiti...ds-khalil/ I gather she's looking a little higher, towards maybe a P5, but there's always hope. Maybe Steph could convince her. Has anyone seen her play?
Not sure who he is talking about, but I can't wait to see the confirmation!

Could be a new and important signing announced soon.

She’s the real deal - a 6’ guard, silky smooth, and can shoot it well. Long and lanky, she would be a good get for us
