One month as of today. giving benefit of the doubt, announce should be tomorrow. Tuesday.
I must say, we should commend the media for showing such restraint. Usually with a story of this magnitude the press would be all over it. Who says they can't keep a secret?
Must be the Big 12 isn't News Worthy outside it's borders !
Well you now how lawyers can be working through the details :).

New markets in the east are key for the B12 which logically points to Ohio, Tenn, Florida, and NC. As another poster mentioned, the Long Horn Network can be used to distribute B14 games assuming they take 4. ECU, Memphis, Cincy, and UCF or USF would be happy to get the call even if TV revenue is increased in stages annually.
If the other existing B12 schools maintain revenue levels then adding these 4 will help anyway since they will be new markets and new potential LHN subscribers. The LH network can't make it alone on Texas only content. Guess we shall see.

I am not expecting this happen any time soon but it is logical.

Go ahead and make it 16 since I was the one that said putting the LHN in Memphis, Cincinnati, Chicago, North Carolina, Florida and even Virginia.

You wouldn't know about good fb or bb being a Tulane fan. If anybody is lucky to be in the AAC its Tulane. Your weak arse program brings nothing...NOTHING.

They bring nerds and a cool destination.
I can see Cincinnati and maybe UCF, Memphis, USF, Houston, SMU, or BYU one day but no way on ECU. There was a reason that ECU barely made it into the AAC. There are even more reasons that ECU won't be considered if the Big 12 ever expands.
Lol this isn't happening kiddos, go make some more "ECU party" videos of tools in visors and post them on your boards. At least the Cinci fans didn't stoop that low to pathetic levels
I will be live streaming my ECU to the B12 watch party tomorrow....
East Carolina, Cincinnati, UCF, and Memphis all having announcement parties tomorrow afternoon. All high donors, university officials, and athletic department staff have been invited. ESPNU will have live look-in on parties. UT president and AD are visiting UCF for their party, while WVU officials at ECU, OU officials at Memphis, and KU officials at Cincinnati.

South Florida will not get in. It will be a duplicate market.

Oh man are the media good at keeping this under wraps, even when they're supposed to announce it they keep their mouths closed!

Man I feel so trolled right now. Thread needs to be deleted. I wont be able to believe anything VirginaPirate brings up now lol. Well, heres to the AAC.

Goo Pirates....sigh
Maybe the announcement is delayed due to legal reasons, such as creating a new logo? Maybe problems with website?
I heard all the announcement parties have been postponed with no new date set. 05-stirthepot
Wow good point. I didn't think about that.

Also, I was thinking - There's going to be a lot of Purple Primary Team Colors in the conference.

KState
TCU
