I wasn't talking about GS, I was comparing the SBC to CUSA this year to last year. I stated how the SBC was better than CUSA last year which showed up in our wins over CUSA head to head but a feel that we were weaker this year as a conference than CUSA. I said right when we were passing them up, I felt we went backwards this year as a conference. I didn't mention GS or any other teams in the conference. I was giving MY opinion.
Sure there were some good and bad teams in the SBC this year. I mentioned that we needed to do better in our OOC games next year.That's is about what I said. I don't want us to be perceived as the bottom FBS conference. The only wsy our perception will change is by winning OOC games.
I also said in a different post that I was glad that we added two quality Universities that can maybe help us get the SBC back up where it was last year in football.
After all that, some person posted, I know a VERY good team. I did say a good team but VERY good teams don't get beat that bad by Navy. If someone from UL had said we were a VERY good team. I would have said the samething, that VERY good teams don't get whipped by Ole Miss and Boise St. Good teams might but VERY good teams wouldn't get whipped that bad.
Which brings me back to my original point that we need to do better in our OOC games next season. Like I said GS wasn't in my original discussion AT ALL
Like i said before, congrats on winning the SBC championship, y'all deserved it, and its good to have both GS and Appalachian St in the conference to help the SBC improve. The conference is competitive where any team can beat any other team on any given day. I was talking about OOC games.
