Thank you but let the haters hate. Gonna be a party tonight.

Nice Signature! The ESPN announcers must've wrote that one for you. Lol!

Winning an FBS conference outright in your first year as an FBS football team, with 11 fewer scholarships, is a landmark achievement.

I thought this was a GS thread...
Yep
With all the strife in Ferguson/St Louis, how about another song from Nellie, FROM THE LOU

Add to that story that it's clear there are a number of fans of other SunBelt teams that have realized this year is the last one that they'll sniff a bowl game for the foreseeable future and so they are bitter. So very, very bitter. Thier bitterness tastes so wonderful.

Riddle me this, which teams from the Sunbelt would have gone to bowl games this year had APP and GS been fully eligible? I think we all know the real reason Tx State fans are being as whiny as they are...

Please stop the appy lovefest. We are the champs, they are not. Suck it, yosef COGS

Thus my sentiments for us being number one in the power poll.

Gotta go with Liberty!

Who played better down the stretch App or Southern? Look at each body of work post Liberty....07-coffee3

Like it matters who played the best down the stretch! GS won the conference and won every conf game they played this year. Dont think who played better down the stretch matters. What matters is winning.

This has nothing to do with GS winning the conference. I don't know what the problem was this year but every team in the conference wasn't very good this year.

Last season I felt we were passing CUSA but this season every team wasn't very good and I think this will show in the Bowl games. Hopefully next season will be better and we can win some OOC game. This year was embarrassing for the conference.

I see getting hammered by Navy and limping our way through the end of the season didn't inspire humility in many of our fans.

Great 1st season. It's fun to be here. We still have a lot of room to grow and get better. The offensive play calling got very vanilla and predictable, but thank goodness for big plays. Really proud of the kids who got us through this transition in historic fashion, but...you ain't seen nothin' yet

I think one team was very good this year.

Yep - this year was a serious regression for the conference.

It sure better not happen again next year, but I have a sinking feeling about the direction of the conference.

Together we ........ meh
I know what you mean I would be embarrassed too if a transition team playing in their first year of FBS with fewer scholarships came in and won the conference.

It is embarrassing, no doubt.

Every program in the SunBelt is down this year, including my Cajuns. IT was a bad year overall. The weakest I can remember in recent Sun Belt history.

Wish it wasn't true, but it is.

I think the bowl games will reflect that unfortunately.

What's the reverse of GS"s and App State's first season in Sun Belt conference? This is what you wish for? If you do not understand the value of a "potential" increase in the competitiveness of the conference you have no value here. Go away or get yr snit together and prepare.
Just got home from the game. Great game. Proud of the Eagles and Youyoute for fighting to the win.

Agreed... and that goes for my Jaguars too. As far as I'm concerned USA deserved a bowl bid and would have had a better chance of winning one last year compared to this one. Just my 2 cents.
It was great to see him come in and bring us back to win. He deserved a shot like that.
