Could be just a coincidence? If true then the name of this thread may have some legit merit. I do find it fitting it flew past Lynchburg to get there.03-lmfao

Flew quite north of the Burg, haha. And 2004 - STALKER. interesting though.

I am not entirely sure if that is ASU's plane. But I am fairly confident that its flown some of our people before. The Flight to Dallas around the time of the Final Four makes a ton of sense for it to be used for us in some way.

Its probably an alum or boosters plane that the school rents out to travel places. I know Missouri State uses Prime Trucking plane and some of the other big boosters planes all the time.

That's what I figured. We're professional flight experts in Jonesboro, and I know I've tracked that plane before, and I think I remember it being Booster owned.

That's how it works with other conferences. Karl Benson doesn't operate that way. Just look at what he did while in the WAC. He invited teams left and right, even when the answer was a resounding "no".

Now the Sun Belt presidents might have a tighter leash on him, but he's shown that he'll go public before everything is formalized.

These invites are certainly unofficial. I imagine that Benson is very much behind some of the Liberty leaks though.

SBC Presidents have him on a very tight leash. Otherwise, Liberty would have been an SBC team last year.
So ASU plane to JMU?

stAte and JMU to MAC?
Lets not attack religion. There are other places to do that.
Flight radar has the plane about to land back in Jonesboro after spending the day at SHD the regional airport serving Harrisonburg and JMU. Hmmmmm JMU BOV meeting today too. The plot thickins.
You know it's getting serious when you start watching the take-off and landing patterens of the local airports. 03-lmfao

Hey now. ASU fans are professional flight watchers. Nothing is official until it shows up on flight aware...or until our AD forgets to turn the location off on his Twitter account. 04-rock
I wonder why the interest in a plane thst originated its flight this morning in Jonesboro, flew to Harrisnburg stayed all day with JMU BOV meeting today, than after the BOV meeting flew direct back to Jonesboro. I thought the Sunbelt's HQ was in New Orleans. But i saw the post of it arriving , and thought it pertanant to reveal the return trip.

Plane was on the ground for 79 minutes.

Wonder if JMU needed a push from another Sun Belt member to say yes to an invite or whether JMU and stAte are gone to MAC? Just can't see anyone going from SBC to MAC.

Athletics committee of the BoV met at 8:30am. I think the plane was picking somebody up at the conclusion of that meeting.
The most likely outcome is some sort of odd coincidence where some part or device needed urgently there was in stock with someone in Jonesboro or someone had some business related reason to go there quickly and either was a short visit or it is an extended stay and the plan returned without them or picking someone up rather than having to deal with flying commercial to return.

If that plane's passengers had business at JMU, they were only there 15 minutes. Its at least a half hour drive one way from that airport to Harrisonburg.
Hmmm, Federated Auto Parts HQ in Staunton, Va. about the same distance away from SHD as H'burg. Maybe they doing business with a Jonesboro company, and nothing at all to do with JMU.
Bobby Knight was reported to have been in the airport when the plane arrived. Rumor is he is to be new coach at JMU after they move to the SBC. 03-lmfao
