Agreed, but as of today from a full time employee in their athletic dept, they are not even discussing it tomorrow and the plan is to wait. Could that change between now and June 1, absolutely but as of today the plan is to wait on the MAC

From everything I've heard about it's other defections, the CAA sure sounds like a vindictive bunch.
I don't have an issue with most of our Liberty posters, but they are very worried about JMU. The whole situation is a little amusing.
Fwiw, our president will be on our local sports show next Tuesday. The host previewed the interview by reiterating the fact that the president now has sole discretion in making a conference change.

Almost impossible to predict what JMU will do. One could conclude that the deal is done and JMU will commit after the baseball tournament which would put in the last 7-10 days of May. One could also conclude JMU has no intention of coming to the Sun Belt and has told the conference "no thanks." Or one could conclude they are still undecided, hoping against hope for a MAC bid before the end of May.
The real question is whether the tweet from a Missouri St. source that JMU and Missouri St. have been invited to the Sun Belt is accurate.
