Well, here we go. We've got five teams in the NL playoffs that are capable of winning it all (recent Cincinnati woes not withstanding). This should be some great baseball.

Regardless of your team, I'm both envious and happy for you lucky dawgs to be able to attend the games. I haven't even had the chance to know the new Busch Stadium. Congrats to the Bucs for showing up after some 21 years of drought. I still remember the 'Pops' Stargell era and enjoyed it. Should be an interesting series.

Great comment, Stargell was one of my Pirate favorites as well. I still remember watching the 1971 series. That team was awesome. My hat is off to this years Pirate team. They have waited so long but I am a Cardinal fan for life. If the Pirates pull the series out, I will be pulling for them but I believe the Cards will do it. Go Cards!
Agree with all the above. I have a soft spot for both the team and city. I used to stay at the Renaissance and always got a room looking out over right field. Great town, great park. Now let's kick their azz.
Cardinal Radio broadcast is one pitch ahead of the delayed TBS broadcast
TBS is terrible. Their reg season crew of Smoltz, Darling, and the other guy are almost unlistenable. This crew of OlberLib, Pedro and whatever other bozos they rounded up may be the worst collection of studio "hosts" ever. Not to mention last nite you could hear the ball pop the catcher's mitt or hit the bat a split second before it did on the video.
