There is no talk about Toledo moving
up to BCS and I have wished for years that somehow Toledo would be able to move up. However, I'm not sure that after losing Pitt and Syracuse to the ACC and now TCU going to the Big 12, that moving to the Big East would be a good idea for any team with hopes of becoming a BCS AQ school. I can't believe that one or both of UConn and WVU will be left when all is said and done so you'll be left with what...Louisville, Cincinnati, Rutgers, and South Florida? That's good if you're talking basketball but you are already in good shape in that department. I have a feeling the conference will end up adding UCF, East Carolina, and maybe a couple others from CUSA but will lose at least one, if not both of the schools I mentioned. So in that scenario, you'd still be playing in a tougher conference than the MAC from top to bottom but it will be far from BCS AQ wouldn't it? Even if WVU and UConn do not leave, the Big East is set to lose its AQ status in a year or so without the teams it has already lost.
