At the time bringing in Mick as the new coach was definitely the right move long term. But if Devan had been a Bearcat for his complete career by keeping Andy Kennedy as coach in the short run it might have been a fun four years.

Love Downey, he was so good as a freshman. Huggs had that run of teams with incredible talent all the floor except at PG, and then he finally got a stud in Downey and, well . . .

Sorry to see ISU go down in a close one last night but from what I witnessed in the second half it was an exciting, competitive game with lots of lead changes and a chance at the end for the Sycamores to tie or win.

As we commented on many occasions this past season, UC could have won just a little more and certainly could have against ISU and would have represented well in the NIT FF.

We're oh, so close right now to turning the corner and being in the dance next year.

UC needs to go after the Connell guy at Indiana State. Didn’t have a great shooting game against Seton Hall but had 12 rebounds from his guard position. He’s a difference maker. He or the Blackman kid from Stetson would be the perfect add to our roster.

He's almost assuredly going to St. Louis...he entered with a no-contact clause, so he already knows where he's headed

Maybe once the entire Xavier roster transfers out after Miller goes to Kentucky, the Indiana State team can transfer en masse to Xavier.

If Kentucky hires Sean Miller, we may as well just cross off the state of Kentucky from every future map.

Maybe that no contact clause means our mojo nabbing mid major bigs who beat us in the NIT 2 years in a row is working. 03-wink
