I'm actually shocked we didn't move at least back to 69. Figured 65 was our floor after a win against a top 50 team.

Happy to see Cincy didn't drop at all though

NET loves winning big on the road. Anything else is meh.

Yea, we've been a poor road team for years too, so any win on the road probably boosts us even more than it would for decent road teams

just to talk some hoopy hoops:

Wichita: the implosion happening at wichita is odd for a team still projected to make the tourney...marshall post game wasnt even trying to deny houston was better, but was hoping for a closer game...there fans are in complete meltdown mode like their season is over

they are currently debating if they have the talent for the aac...and im like what???

most of your conference loses were by last second game winners to other top conference teams, while being mostly freshman and sophomore..the consensus around the wichita parts are they arent aac level players because they arent dominating the AAC as underclassman

all your players are aac worthy, just let them grow up..all your guards will be killers as upperclass...the issue is that you are relying on underclass..not that the underclass are making a elite top 10 as youngins... making the tourney is a great year, just finish it off

Houston:
sampson once noted that the "label" starter seems to have an effect on certain players and their performance irregardless of minutes,.... said that was the case for galen....its looking like the case for grimes

Grimes was looking like the AAC POY when non-con ended..he then had a 4 game shooting slump (still being aggressive, just not making it)...we then changed up the starting lineup, had him coming off the bench (he was still getting the same minutes).. despite getting out of his shooting slump, he just stopped shooting the ball, and stopped being aggressive ..because of the dejon incident he is a starter again ..and he is back to being aggressive again and back to looking like our best player, despite it being the same minutes

That looks like a cup of beer on the table in front of Marshall during the post-game presser. I guess he had to get his drink on after getting nothing from his players after the game.

This tweet from Taylor shows how fragile underclassmen are. I think those two buzzer beater losses took a big toll on Sunday. Instead of going to Houston tied for first....they went in 5th place. Definitely some psychological things going on with this team right now.

Do you want to do some Catfishing while in Memphis? Or just some standard tourist stuff? Looks like we're both NIT Family.
