Will be there decked out in Blue and Gold, supporting as hard as I can. Certainly I want them to win but win, lose or draw the Bucs and ETSU will get tremendous exposure plus a nice payday that will pay for more improvements to the athlectic programs.

You can’t predict an upset. That’s what makes it a true upset, no statistical, roster based, or other qualitative reason the underdog should win. Everything would have to go right for ETSU and a lot go wrong for UT. Boy I would love to watch it happen, though! I hate UT orange and Rocky Top; they are an affront to the senses.

I tell y’all what, the folks down here in Cullowhee were a bit concerned with the way the Catamounts played. At least the Bucs figured it out at the half. Since the Cats have a Bye this week, we’ll be heading to Knoxville to see the Bucs first hand. We have friends who will be on the river, so look for the old guy in an LSU cap
I really wanted to ask what everyone thinks a good outing will be? 66-0 might not be so good, but what if they are within 35 – is that a good number? What if they score 2 TDs – will people say that is good? What if they are within 14 at the half – is that good? Or, are simple things like not turning it over, not committing penalties, not subsiding to the crazy noise of the Neyland home opener good aspects? Remember the other SoCon teams and players have played BCS teams. This will be theses young men’s first. I feel if they get beat by 50, people will jump all over them, and I don’t think that’s a fair assessment. Good Luck Bucs! I’ll be cheering for y’all!

What exposure? It’s 4 PM game on SEC Network that nobody outside of East TN will watch. And that check is for survival not improvements. I bet even you will be back on I-81 in the 4th quarter lol

It was a mistake to play this game. Plain and simple. Only serves to make ETSU look pitiful (which we are at this point) and de-legitimize the program.

Nobody is going to be surprised by this score, they are going to expect it, Tennessee thumping (playing) a cupcake is going to reflect badly on them, not ETSU. It isn't going to have any impact on the ETSU program but the money will help.
