i love these stats like "3 away losses since 2010"... who cares about 2010, who cares about away, who cares if they were day games, or mars and venus were visible at the same time.
no parsing - jmu is 26-0 ... soon to be 27-0 (after an amazing game)

there will be 12,000-15,000 NDSU fans down there in Frisco, It's not REVENGE we are after...
it's a Reckoning!!!!
NDSU fans will be lucky if their team in the game at half-time. It's going to be a very rude awakening when JMU (once again) exposes NDSU as a paper tiger.
15-0 and back-to-back National Champs! NDSU fans will have another long winter to convince themselves they really didn't lose.

Exactly right. This game is essentially a replay of last years game, except JMU's D is much, much better, and the game is on a neutral field.

This is a huge change. The home field advantage NDSU had in Fargo was tremendous. Not having that in their favor this time around is a big deal. Yes, they will make noise, but you can't compare that sound to the decibel levels in the Fargodome.

yea...no kidding... we had what, 6/7 false start penalties?
I don't doubt that NDSU will be loud in Frisco, but it will be half as many voices in a wide open stadium. Noise is a consideration, but not like it was last year.

Not to mention the noise they have to face when on offense... they are used to radio silence when in possession of the ball.
Lost at SDSU - stadium capacity 20k
Won by 3 at YSU - stadium capacity 20k
their other away games this year include stadiums less than 14k (indiana state, illinois state, EW, etc) and probably not having a fan base near as fired up like that of a traveling group to the national championship.
I expect the JMU faitful to make up about 40% of Toyota Stadium capacity but will be charged up and NDSU offense will be feeling the heat.

Stick has had a few games where he's looked rattled. SDSU when they got behind, was one example. But he's had other games that he's come thru and won, Iowa last year as an example. Looking for a good game on Saturday.

40% would shock me unless you hit the August sale as hard as NDSU fans.

just go single coverage with their wr's, stack the box, shut down the run and smack stick around a little bit. he was flailing in the 4th quarter of that game last year. get up more than 7 on this team and the bison will fold. 31-20 jmu.

Why is that so hard to comprehend?
Capacity is 17,177 (acording to NCAA), and JMU was given 5,422 tickets. JMU definitely sold out our portion, which would mean JMU is already at 32%. To reach 40%, JMU would only need to buy 1.4k more tickets. JMU can easily surpass that.
Be prepared to be shocked when you see at least 40% of that stadium decked out in JMU gear.

I hope NDSU really is favored like the Bizn fans are saying.
To favor a 1 loss NDSU team over the undefeated number 1 team in the nation who just dismantled the only team NDSU lost to this season is completely ridiculous. No other way to look at it other than blatant disrespect for JMU and what we have achieved.
You can bet thats Houston's theme this week. The Bizn arrogance may just give us all the fuel we need to come out and play our best game yet.

5dimes has NDSU -4, so yes they are favored. Line opened at -3.

I hear ya, but no worries. The Dukes don't need added motivation - especially at this point. Our guys have been laser-focused since August drills got started. Bulletin board material and who's favored and revenge and all that stuff disappears after the 1st play when you get hit in the mouth by the guy across from you. It will boil down to preparation, execution and depth. JMU is good in all 3 of those without any worry at all. As fans we will definitely prepare, execute enjoyment of 3-4 glorius hours, and include as many friends as possible to cover depth. Enjoy! This will be a lot of fun for folks in purple.

the only thing I can think of is they are relying on the history of matching up with Towson and Illinois state in Frisco.
whatever, I'd rather be an underdog and I'd rather them be shocked with how we show up. All of it is fine by me.

Agree it defies logic in some many ways that Bz are favored but I kind of like It; will be that much sweeter when we wax them again.

Love your confidence and I tend to agree with you. I think we win this by a minimum of 2 TDs. If the offense plays like they have for the past five quarters, I am absolutely certain of it. This JMU team may be the overall best in FCS history. The defense certainly is.
