That is true, especially the Big 12 where Memphis is drawing a tough 7-5 Iowa State in a bowl that beat OK and TCU. I could Argue that USC from the PAC12 deserved the 4th spot. It is the eye test. Watch the games and you will see the talent differences.


You can tell one team is bigger or faster but not which one has the better football team unless there are more crossover games. So unless we awarding playoff spots based on recruiting rankings this argument has no legs
