Hey, is anyone going to the VCU game? Have y'all seen how much these tickets are? Cheapest I've seen are $52 a piece. $60 for general admission. That's ridiculous. I'm in Chesterfield so I wanna go, but not at those prices.

I was thinking about it, but haven't even looked into tickets yet. If they are $60 each, I won't be going.

They need the money to keep the concession stand going for Pavarotti.

Game has been sold out. Some on Stubhub and other ticket sites. Hope some of you can make it. Should be a good game with the way you are playing.

Might be your only chance to beat us in Richmond for a while. Mike Rhoades has an interesting group assembled for his first year here. We have nine new players and only 4 returning guys. But his recruiting for the future is going to be as good as we saw with Shaka and Will.

And he is home now, so he won't be leaving. This has been his dream job since he first got into coaching. When he was at Randolph Macon he and he was dating his wife-to-be, they used to come to VCU games for dates and he says they used to dream about him being the head coach. She is from Mechanicsville.

Until FecesU guartanees a spit free zone I would never put my my in th hands of their athletic department. While the place has great atmosphere no doubt (and I envy you guys that) it is still one ugly building.

Karen Barefoot dream job was ODU. Funny Mike said "He walk from Richmond for the ODU job" Lol. Oh yea the last two recruits we signed had VCU offers.

Pretty big balls to be coming on here and acting like VCU is the second coming of Kentucky. Take your smelly billy goat a** elsewhere. Pure example of why I hate VCU. EVERY FAN WALKS AROUND like they're the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Rhodes is a fine coach. I wouldn't have minded seeing him get the job when we hired JJ. That said, I think the jury is still out on how good he will be, both as a coach and a recruiter. All signs point to him being successful, but frankly, he was only at Rice for a minute and had one of the best players in their history there at the time. I think we simply don't know yet how good he can be as a HC at the upper mid-major level yet.

No desire to go see this game in person and I live in the Richmond area. They don't handle losing well.

They fill that small time arena with a lot of fans, but they aren't very smart.

Consider the VCU hype train and then look at the series record and the facts are clear. VCU has about a 2-3 game lead on the series even with all of their recent NCAA appearances. I'm guessing that will be level in about 2-3 years.

ODU has never taken a back seat to them and never will. And the Seigel Center vs Ted is another realtime reflection of where each program is. Still about even.

And didn’t ODU (Jones) beat Rhoades at least 4 times when at Rice?
