Oh, c'mon, that's like saying you love it when a big kid steals his younger brother's Halloween candy. It's too easy. 03-lmfao

Saw the Cardinals hired Mike Maddox to be their pitching coach.

WTF were the Nats thinking. Makes the decision to get rid of Dusty look that much worse.

I think it's safe to say the Dodgers will be targeting a starter, and probably an outfielder. They'll have close to $80MM coming off the books after the WS.

Darvish or Arrieta? I think they like Darvish, and until Game 3 of the WS he seemed to be turned around from his earlier difficulties. But I still have some nagging doubts. He's really good against poor/mediocre hitting teams but often has trouble against better offenses. Arrieta was a little up and down this year but overall still a very good to great pitcher. I think both guys will command big numbers. Guess I'd lean Arrieta if the price was about the same but he's 2 yrs older...

I assume the Dodgers will make a run at JD Martinez, but I don't think Friedman will want to cut the huge checks he's going to command after his finish to the season. Maybe Lorenzo Cain's in the mix too?

I think you see the Dodgers looking for a right handed reliever or 2 after watching this series.

heh - you may be right but I don't expect them to go after any high profile relievers.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the Dodgers are going to be a little less enthusiastic about signing Darvish...03-puke

ya think? His postseason ERA now career wise is a good 1.5 runs worse than Kershaw.

80 million? Jeez, that makes the Giants seem like an even bigger joke
