MSU hit two goal posts and a crossbar after our new goalie came in. I am not sure if he made any saves. I feel a bit bad for the kid. Big time to have your first appearance of the season, and only second of your career. And then gave up a goal fairly quickly.
We certainly had pour chances. Two point blank shots, and somehow we missed the large open net. That happens in soccer though.

The ambulance issue was embarasssing for both the school and city. Hope the kid is alright. It looked really serious. I hope I never need an ambulance in this town after watching that response time.
When did the WMU staff call them is the question

trainers attended to him for a bit, then the kid eventually got up and started walking, before falling to ground again. My guess is that is what triggered a call to EMS, as the medical trainers began looking around, seemingly for more help. from that point it had to be a half hour, and people standing around the kid were mostly looking around as if to say, "where the he11 is the ambulance?".
There was a big crowd there, and a D1 college soccer game. Soccer has lots of injuries, and many of them are the closed head variety. How is it that there was no ambulance on scene for the game? Honestly, I love WMU, but this is 2017.

TV media reported that the ambulance was delayed because of a blockage by a stopped train at a crossing.

Huge win over Akron. 1-0. First time we beat the zips in a long time. We needed that after two straight losses.

Great rebound win over UA. They regularly send players to the MLS.

Broncos beat NIU 5-0 today, to go 2-0 in the MAC! Game was played at DeKalb and we completely dominated the stats, as the score would suggest. Coach Wiseman is doing a great job as Men's soccer head coach.

Hey folks, with all the disappointment with our football game outcome, let's not forget that we have a WINNING Men's soccer program that has beaten UM this year and gave a game to MSU.
Coach Wiseman does more with less than any coach we have at WMU. He beats programs that are MUCH better funded. Hopefully Kathy keeps him happy so he won't bolt for a better paying situation. He has links to the region and would like to stay, we need to stay competitive with our funding.

This soccer team is fun to follow. Seem like a good group of kids. Top ten in the country! Exciting stuff.
Go Broncos!

Huge win at #15 WV in extra time. This team is outstanding and is putting itself in position to contend for more than just a MAC championship. It can play with anyone in the country.

Coach Wiseman and his Broncos just keep on winning like the Energizer Bunny. A program we can all be proud of!

This team in on fire! Last two games on the season are at home. Hopefully they sell out. This is a special team.

They should win them both-though SIU will be challenge-and get a great seed in the MAC tournament playoffs!

BIG game against SIU at the Kalamazoo complex today. If you can make it, do. If we win this game we've won the MAC.
WMU men's soccer is a winning program, support it.

Any chance we make the NCAA Tourney if we don't win the MAC Tourney?
