It's borderline, you cant "call to action" and this is pretty damn close to that.

how Fit, should she be reprimanded for publically wishing for someone to assassinate the President of the United States?

please enlighten me

I think there are a set of ethics that government officials have to abide by. She may have not broken the law but usually, elected officials have to abide by a code of ethics NO?

So are you going to answer the question?

She'll get a slap on the wrist from our state senate, Fit.. and then she'll go right back to doing it again. She can't help herself.

She even told Jay Nixon during the Ferguson riots to go "F himself" when Nixon asked for calm. (before he called in the Nat'l Guard).

She declared a "race war" was officially on after the Not Guilty Verdict of Officer Wilson.

She has promoted violence against White St. Louis residents and "promised" no punishment to the blacks who did it.

She promised a "bountY' against someone who criticized her at some point. (though she changed that bounty to a "bounty for information").

She accused White St. Louisian and white Missourians of being "#whiteprivildged"

Trust me.. this woman is egging on for a spot in the national DNC at some point.

Unfortuantely, we had a ton of decent Republican candidates in other State Senatorial races last election (and even some blue-dog Democrats show up in other primaries), but NOT one Republican could get the state party to get their name in The University City race.

I certainly don't agree with her statements but how many of those statements are actually against the law?

She has 1st amendment rights too doesn't she?

It's amazing how low you put the bar when it's "your side"... Hell I'd say you put it right on the ground but in point of fact I think you did a trench and throw it in...

Trump says "a lot of hate on both sides" and you're all REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
A democrat calls for a race war and you're all "Well it's not illegal, is it?"

She should be forced to resign her position and not allowed to run for any position, local, state or federal in Missouri for a period of ten years.

RE: Missouri state senator posts, deletes Facebook post hoping for Trump's assassination
I almost want to listen to the "Kook" radio station tomorrow now.. just to see what Bob Kapeneck says about this posting.

(For those of you who don't know.. he's a radio dj here in East St. Louis (who was being blamed for stirring up the shooter of Steve Capase at the ball field in Wash DC)... He literally bought his own station just so he could broadcast his opinion for about 30 minutes a day.

Funny thing is, I'd never listened to him until after that shooting (and only do so now when the other radio stations are boring as hell).

This man is as foul-mouthed as you can get on the Radio without losing your FCC license, and up until Charlottesville, I'd have put him in the "I'm a white supremacist, but I'm going to play it just right so I'm not accused of being a racist"... and often I still think he falls in that category

And then he went off on the white supremacists at Charlottesville.. and he ripped into them a NEW a-hole for being "white N's". (which is why I still think he falls in that above category... told you, this man will throw out as many legal bad words as he can).

Before he went back to his 'there are "n" blacks and "proud blacks"' as the two different groups of black americans - trust me.. you can only take a couple of minutes of this guy at most at any given time.)

I get a feeling tomorrow's episode, he's gonna rip Nadal a new one if he's seen her twitter account.

I believe this is an example of speech that is not protected and is this illegal?
It wasn't a threat so I wouldn't think so, disgusting as it is.

Whoever knowingly and willfully deposits for conveyance in the mail or for a delivery from any post office or by any letter carrier any letter, paper, writing, print, missive, or document containing any threat to take the life of, to kidnap, or to inflict bodily harm upon the President of the United States, the President-elect, the Vice President or other officer next in the order of succession to the office of President of the United States, or the Vice President-elect, or knowingly and willfully otherwise makes any such threat against the President, President-elect, Vice President or other officer next in the order of succession to the office of President, or Vice President-elect, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.
To say you hope someone gets killed is not threatening to kill someone. Not defending her post, but it does fall under free speech.

Agree. Unless you use the contrived incite definition of free speech the left loves to parrot.

Just have to say that if she were a wife talking about her husband during a domestic dispute it would be treated as a threat by law enforcement.

No

I would have thought this would have fallen under Missouri Ethics Commission.. but there's pretty much nothing in there other than financial ethics, which this doesn't qualify for.

So No, she cannot be forced out.

And she made a statement that she's not going to resign, even though the Governor, the Senate Republicans AND THE other Senate Democrats have asked her to.
