uh oh. The list has expanded lol

Kansas, Mississippi, North Carolina, and Tennessee were the original states banned by AB 1887, but Becerra added Alabama, Kentucky, South Dakota and Texas on Thursday, citing what he called new discriminatory legislation enacted against the LGBTQ community in those states.

What you probably won't see going forward is the NCAA awarding Memphis hosting sites.

They just did about a month ago.

There is always private funding. lol

"The law bans state-funded or state-sponsored travel by employees of state agencies and departments as well as members of boards, authorities, and commissions."

I can't believe the drama that happens with this kind of stuff that leads to legislation, that gets interpreted, reinterpreted and challenged ad infinitum, clogging up our legal system and wasting energy money and time.

"The legislation stems from a 2015 decision to remove references to Jesus Christ from a student production of 'A Charlie Brown Christmas.'"

California ranks 6 in World Economies. Ain't nuttin anyone can do about dat except boycott everything that California exports and vow never to visit.
No one would notice, though.

Over the last five years, California has outperformed the nation in just about every important economic metric. Yes, the state is big, accounting for about 12 percent of the nation’s population. But its share of economic growth has been even bigger.

Yes it does rank 6th, but somehow it still spends more than it makes.

The Fresno-Bama game isn't affected, so I doubt the UCLA one will be.

They tend to leave that part out of the conversation, after all it is just free money, don't mean a thing to them.

Maybe Tennessee should refuse to allow state funded people to go to states where the age of consent is 16 years old, since that allows old creepos to get it on with minors.

No travel to North Carolina and many other states will be allowed.

Free money...? And who is them? I pay so many taxes to be in biz here. State Income Tax to start with. Payroll taxes and 15 dollah an hour is the minimum you pay anyone if you don't want a total zombie working for ya.

Payroll taxes and Workman's comp brings that up to about 22.50 per plus health insurance which we already paid anyway.
