They shoot like our guards.

Naw, our guards charge when they've got a 2 on 1 situation.

I think he had the juice box distribution thing down.

All kidding aside, I think his shtick worked pretty well at first: smiley, positive, cleancut family guy who didn't drink or cuss, and refrained from carbonated beverages and Harbor Town wenches.

Many parents really do like that environment for their kids.

It just takes a while for people to comprehend that the positive energy bus stuff is just another shtick. When promises made don't pan out...word gets around.

I don't know what any of that has to do with commanding respect from his players. You are a little to flippant about the situation with the juice box/HarborTown thing which has ran its course long ago.

which ran its course

"Has ran" is an incorrect present perfect form, because the past participle of the verb to run is run, not ran. Ran is the simple past tense."

Maryland men's basketball freshman Micah Thomas will transfer, the school announced. Former 3-star recruit redshirted this past season

If Tubby could land Nick King and Micah Thomas, that'd possibly be a nice little roster for next season.

Can Nick bust a trey, now? We need a wing who can bust a trey!

It's just nuts. Give the man his 3-4 years. At this point we can't slip much farther than we have already.

I respectfully disagree. We could lose the Lawson brothers and Crawford and the incoming talent quality at this point is suspect.

As bad as last year was, it could get worse next year and resemble Moe Iba's last season.

Give me some optimism.

Hell, I don't care. Speculate as to how, knowing what players will/might be here next year (and then those same players in 2018) to go along with recruits...how is it going to be better?

And if you are saying year 4 (of 3-4) that is still THREE years away. So, we pay a dude $12.6 million to finally make the tourney in year 4?

At least with Pastner, we knew 2019-10 would be house money with Wesley, DJ, Barham, Carmouche, and Coleman being paired in 2010-11 with a top 5 recruiting class 7 deep with freshman (none as one and cones), and a great shot at Adonis the following year.

The current roster, as constructed, will have these guys (barring transfer) in 2018:

Martin
Clergeot
Nickleberry
Enoh
Johnson
Azab
(maybe) KJ

and likely three low level JUCO's in their 2nd year.

Is that a roster that will inspire blue chip recruits to want to join?
