How far will a team full of Rivers and Keon's take us? Rivers is so overmatched physically by 3s and seems to be in in another world on the floor at times. From what I've seen of Keon, he is going to be average at best. None of his skills stand out. This is what Tubby calls his ideal player???

How can he say that Markel, KJ or Dedric is his favorite kind of player and then

The first and foremost duty of a head coach is to get players that will allow you to be competitive at the level that your boss expects. memphis is somewhat unique in CBB. Probably not 3 jobs like it in the nation.

We're signing a Sleestak next week. They are really good at rebounding but they do t share the ball very well.

I think he had the juice box distribution thing down.

All kidding aside, I think his shtick worked pretty well at first: smiley, positive, cleancut family guy who didn't drink or cuss, and refrained from carbonated beverages and Harbor Town wenches.

Many parents really do like that environment for their kids.

It just takes a while for people to comprehend that the positive energy bus stuff is just another shtick. When promises made don't pan out...word gets around.
