Vernon is better in podcast form. You get his strengths in good interviews and commentary, without the off the rails idiocy or repetition that would crop up fairly often due to having to fill up three hours.

Yup. His interviews are incredible. The rest of his show isnt my cup of tea but its worth sitting through to hear those interviews.

I wonder how much money Rainey swindled people out of with the sports bar he was going to open up?

Nope. Classics = real books. Current fiction = book on tape as most of it is only moderately entertaining and just helps kill a long drive.
