I've met John Martin and he's a complete douche bag. John Hardin seems like a good guy but doesn't have a voice for radio.

Martin is an ok dude. He's really young. Doesn't yet know what he doesn't know.

Yes, it could get much worse: John "Rainman" Rainey. Worst. Radio. Ever.

Martin and Smith have a really nice show. I was a little unsure, but they play well off of each other.

As for John Harden, I don't like to criticize something that can't be controlled, but his voice isn't made for radio.

I like Smith

Do you listen to his Grizz podcasts? Vernon is still really solid even though the podcasts are short. He was Memphis Sports talk radio IMO especially for out-of-towners like myself. He stayed away from politics and primarily talked sports. The rest of the folks on Memphis sports radio are blah.

I started listening to spotify a couple of months back and haven't missed sports talk one iota.

I have no interest in Podcasts. Even if I did, I only care about the NBA during the playoffs and if I think the Grizzlies can get out of the first round. But that's a conversation for a different board. :)

I listen to plenty of 92.9. That being said, who is John Harden?

Absolutely disagree. Roser is borderline awful. Everything he says a laugh follows even if there's nothing funny about it. Then there's the Next Story yelling crap. Roser is a poor poor poor man wannabe Chris Vernon that completely fails
