Very strange how the media is trying to paint the fan base as obsessing over Pastner.
Most posters and most people I know could give two craps. Seriously. They'll post in a thread or whatever, but hardly anyone is obsessing.
Definitely no one is pining.
Strange but whatever works for them I guess.
I mean, I scratch my head and laugh when I see Tech ripping off Top 25 wins, but I have yet (nor will I) seek out a GT score or make a game of theirs a "must see" event.
I will say, post Cal, I was very interested in his games and actively rooted against UKy.
Pastner, in all reality, IDGAF.

I only watch Tigers games. Is Pastner doing well or poorly at his new school?

I was kidding. There's basically one poster here that won't let the thread Rest In Peace

He's 13-8.
Apparently there's two ways to look at that record.

Right.
Obsessing is what the butt hurt crowd was doing in 2009 and the years that followed, putting every aspect of Cal's life under a microscope - what he said, what he did, where he was.
This Pastner stuff ain't obsessing. It's simply making some bored and board commentary on a coach less than a year removed.
It's not any different than Fuente/Norvell in some respects - what's the new guy doing, what's the old guy doing...there was a little bit of that last season.
Same here.

Excellent post from you Mr. Dreams! Perfectly stated.
Well at least now they will have to move on, they can't continue to write and talk about the wonder boy weekly.
Also, it's always fun to leave out certain nuggets and facts, like yes wonder boy did win three games against the top 25 teams, but at the same time they conveniently leave out that GT lost three games against the top 25. Duke, Louisville, ND. He gets to play ND again at ND.
I was simply happy the guy is gone. If he does well, good for him, if he does poorly, oh well. I enjoy Tiger hoops again. No matter who was named as the new Tiger coach, within reason of course, I was excited for change and a fresh beginning. If it was Buzz Williams, or Steve Forbes, or Tubby Smith, I was cool with it.

Yep.
Tonight should be a gimme for win 14.
Clemson is one of the few ACC teams that GT has already defeated handily.
No way the ACC COY should lose to a team he's already double-digit curb stomped.
Nothing to do with Pastner, but this is this season's ACC we're talking about. You have two teams with nearly identical records and Georgia Tech is the one on the road.
