On a side note, I noticed that the defense staff is still on wmubroncos.com. It really makes me think we'll be holding onto the staff on that side of the ball -- which would be a huge plus for an incoming new coach.

Lot of people saying Scott Shafer wants to join as DC. We shall see.

I wasn't excited by this hire... but holy crap I dont hate it now that it's actually happened. I watched this guy shred defenses when I was a student at WMU... he was always very well spoken. He's been around and now it's time to see if the golden boy coming home can take us from where PJ took us to the next level. I'm on board and I hope we all can continue this momentum.

The same Scott Shafer that led Syracuse to 3-9 and 4-9 records in 2014 and 2015? Sorry, not going to get excited about another vintage Cubit era place-holder.

Maybe Lester can get Ryan Cubit as OC as well.
