Sure it is, & with good reason, but we're talking about the future of the Holtz regime here, & in essence the future of our program in relation to how we play this Saturday.

Kinda hard to talk about the future with out mentioning "next year". 03-wink

You also have to wonder about the future of Holtz himself.....and how capable Skip will be to keep us on (or get us on, as the case may be) track.

I once thought keeping it all in the family was the way to go......but Skip's playcalling makes no sense to me. Maybe he'll show us something different versus UVA, but I doubt it.

That's a much better question to discuss Future. I think more than anything else it gives this team confidence. Especially that long drive on the ground to put us up 24-7.

Turman should be the starter this week, he is the most deserving, great game for him and Moe!

Yep.....I'm glad I was wrong, too!!

I say the win is pretty huge for several reasons.....but mainly, as Drake said, the need for confidence is satisfied a bit. We simply couldn't lose this game and expect to have a shot at a bowl, IMO.

But, we won......and if the team continues to improve, we have a decent shot at a bowl and beating Clemson this year. If we do that, our recruiting should go well again and we will be setting up a nice 2004. And all of that is a result of making the big plays versus Virginia.

Schaub or no Schaub......it's a big win. No doubt about it.
