Now look Hokies. I know GT is bad and can scarcely block anything. But if you keep this turnover gravy train rolling you're gonna lose.

Also ... how in the unholy hell can you not score against Ted Roof? I've even seen some three and out ... and that is almost not in the lexicon of Ted Roof.

Halftime

Georgia Tech is playing WITHOUT Justin Thomas and starting three true freshmen on the OL including a first time start at Center. Georgia Tech came in the worst team in the entire country on 3rd down defense. So naturally, VT can't stop the run and GT is getting 3 and outs. ???????

I don't even. Is this real life?

03-lmfao

That was the most Georgia Tech Football thing imaginable to do. Stone hand the first snap of the half into a turnover in the redzone.

They better not lose by < 7.

The patented Virginia Tech "large gangly lanky QB sneak for 9 stumbling yards". I wonder how many defensive coordinators will come and go in Atlanta before somebody defends it.

That was incredibly stupid of VT to go for it on 4th and 4 from midfield. A few first downs and GT can put VT 3 scores down. That's braindead. The GT offense has done nothing this half. You just gave them most of something.

And boom there's one run to put it right at the edge of FG range.

If Georgia Tech scores here -- even a FG -- VT may not have enough possessions left to win.

I hope Jordan Whitehead is ok. Looks like a season ending major injury. I hope he will be ok as the kid shares my last name.

Flop weekend for the top of the Coastal. VT getting rolled 30-7 at home and instead of clinching the division today it won't be decided for two more weeks now.

RE: Open Thread 2016 - Week 11
30-20 final.

VT has no business losing to a GT team without a true road win all year, without Justin Thomas, starting 3 true freshmen on offensive line, and with the worst 3rd down defense in the entire country.

I can only assume VT watched that Duke win earlier in the week and mailed this one in.

Don't have to worry about the SEC getting 2 in...

White played worse than anyone QB I have ever seen at any level. Injuries or whatever, I don't care. It's over.

This is some of the chaos Louisville needed. Will be interesting to see what else happens following this.
