Tubs is going to collect his 2017 salary and the buyout after that season at a minimum. Bohn isn't gonna do a damned thing. It's a shame when a bunch of message board posters know more than the AD.

17k a game is going to look pretty bad in that shiny renovated house

Yeah and good luck selling those club seats when the current commitments expire (next year?).

They are already calling for renewals. The three-year terms end after the 2017 season. This is going to be such a shitstorm if they don't sack up and get rid of this cancer.

Typically you give coaches 4-5 years to get their guys and systems in place. People may cite tubs record. It the over .500 part is with someone else's players. 18 wins with Jones kids.

Now the tuberville effect....

A loaded team last year picked to win AAC underperformed in conference and ends season with 7 wins and 2 horrible blowout losses

This year the team is 4-5...bottom of conference ...unlikely to go to bowl for first one in 6 years. 2nd half has been horrendous. Shows this staff can't adjust. Could end up 4-7.

2 of the 11 wins over last two seasons aren't even our division.

Tubby claims he knew this was going to be tough year? In your 4th year where you've had 4 classes?! This year's class is not all that good. Look at the competition for most of our recruits. Alabama A&M, Howard, ...barely even getting CuSa guys.

Like rath says the trajectory is down the toilet.

Frankly I'm still perplexed by the extension last year after that finish.

For recruiting purposes (due to his contract expiring) UC had to extend or cut bait with him last year. They took a gamble on one more season for him to show something and it did not pan out. Only going to cost them an extra $500,000 based on how they re-structured the buyout date in his contract.

Glad we gave him that extension for recruiting purposes. That top 50 class was really impressive. LOL
