in regards to Tommy's statement: Too much "we" not enough "I". The accountability should be his alone and a more contrite statement may have pacified some. That said, i'm beyond words with him.

in re Bohn's statement: it was a complete pass for Tommy. He needed to come out stronger and let the Bearcat nation know that Tommy's behavior was wholly unacceptable and that some semblance of a pound of flesh, not necessarily a suspension or fine, would be given by Tommy.

Honestly, i'm with the rest of the group that are counting down the days for Tommy's finale. However, Bohn needs to be a more visible and assertive leader.

Top article on ESPN.com...not good for Tubby or Bohn. Comments section is brutal.

If they are gonna be complacent, we fans need to be loud and obnoxious toward Bohn and Tt. Increase the misery index until they give. Do your job.

I think based on how this was handled and the amount of the buyout (even after Dec 7) he probably will get another year. And you are probably right about the O.C.

RE: If UC is complacent with this garbage...
Does anyone think we have the horses on the field to compete? Last year in another world I caught holy hell for worrying about the loss of the wideouts. I was essentially laughed at by uber homer fools. Their loss has been devastating.

Then there is the new OC and the new offense - can anyone tell me what the new offense is other than horrible? It seems to me to be back to the days of running RDA4 up the middle to implement a power running game - a power running game without an O line. Only a fool would try that with what we have.

The players are fine. Offensive line is a weak spot. You are right, we need to run a spread offense or recruit better on the oline. I notice that this years class is packed full of olineman.

RE: If UC is complacent with this garbage...
To me Bohns statement spoke volumes. Doesn't sound remotely close to a guy disappointed in anything involving tuberville.

He chose to defend his coach (and remember Bohn extended this clown last year when there was no need) over a fan and the frustration of a fan base that has given much only to be kicked over and over. No-win situation? That's what we are in with tuberville.

Tubs reads the writing on the wall last week and says well we knew this was gonna be a tough year. Wasn't this team picked 3rd in the east? There's his excuse for year 5.

The guy hasn't been able to get coaches here. Even when he first came here. He was slow and struggled to get assts. he has reached for retreads...grad assistants and NFL guys on the unemployment line. Firing Taylor will not fix this.

I have tix from a friend for Memphis and I don't want to be disrespectful and not go. But that will be last football game I go to until tubs is gone. Is Bohn so obtuse that he doesn't can't read this fan base?

This recruiting class and last one appear very mediocre at best. One more year of tubs and this program will be set back even further. You think it can afford that?

Power running game and as of today UC ranks 117 out of 128 in rushing offense. That's good, right?

If they keep this clown another year the renewal rate for club seats may be south of 25%. If UC's leadership is that stupid, we are totally ####ed anyways.

What we witnessed yesterday compounded the embarrassment to our football program and our University.

I am surprised they didn't just come to an agreement behind closed doors. CTT knows he is gone Dec 8th. The players know it. Everyone knows it. What does CTT gain from being here another month and hearing everyone spew hatred towards him?

He gets 40k a week and a $200,000 retention bonus on December 1st. He knows UC is not giving him the $2.4 million early buyout. He's getting his.

So pay him 40K a week X 4 and give him 200K. Pay him everything he would earn if he was kept until Dec 7th. How does that hurt UC? How does that hurt him?

He gets $600,000 more net if he is relieved before the 7th.

He'd step down, it will take 2.4 million. Look at how he used he contract terms to march in and resign to collect $6 million from Auburn. Tubby always gets every penny.

I'd lay money that he coaches the Memphis game from the press box then...

I am convinced he is gone and it likely has been made clear for awhile. The reason I say that he is at the point where he doesn't give a shyte. That is generally how anyone acts who knows they are getting canned or they have put in their notice.

If you are sticking around you do not take on the fans.

He gets no extra pennies by staying until Dec 8th than what I suggested.

I guess your point is that he's hoping we pull the trigger before then and he gets the full amount and gets to go away. I doubt that happens.
