I'm going to be honest I don't have much love for any of the teams here. I was really excited about being part of this conference and then we finally arrived and it's been mostly hate from the majority of posters here. How we don't deserve to be here, that we need to be kicked out, that we are not a good school. Even though we have the most championships in the AAC since realignment. I rather be in a conference that wants us then to constantly have to see posts about how we are not wanted. So I really have no opinion on who stays or who goes.

Actually that is part of the reason why I decided to make an account and start posting here after reading this board for a while. Too much negativity from some people in here. I want Tulsa in this conference! They DESERVE to be here. We are all in this together! #AmericanBrothers

Come on if Tulsa or anybody else wasn't wanted by most others they wouldn't be here. You are letting a few posters on this board get to you.
The AAC has the best line up outside of the P5 and short of being there it's the best place for our schools and the schools not chosen by the B12 will not just give up and dry away in the AAC

I always considered Tulsa a perfectly respectable member of the AAC. It has an athletic history going way further back than a number of the other schools, including with Cincy and Memphis from the old MVC days of 50 yr ago. Plus, the conference has a good set of private schools.
The only knock on Tulsa would be its lack of football support, at least in terms of attendance. Basketball is fine.

One thing is for sure. No matter who leaves, there will still be a group of solid schools left behind.
Let's say, for example, that Houston and Cincinnati leave. You still have USF, UCF, ECU, Navy, Temple, UConn, Memphis, and potentially Southern Miss and Marshall. That's still a premier G5 conference.
If they take 4, it's more dicey, but there will STILL be a good group left behind.

For ECU, I think being in a conference with Navy and Temple is really beneficial. ECU has struggled for decades with developing non ACC rivalries...ended up with Southern Miss, which is 860 miles apart. Navy is about 300 miles apart and Temple is about 400. Would love if Army would come in....would fit with ECU's location near Fort Bragg.

We'll gladly be your rivals! We don't have a true rival =*(

Ill miss Cinci or Uconn the most because of the history. UCF because its our one true rivalry... then Houston, ECU and Temple just because they are fun games.

I'd say USF, Houston, and ECU
USF is like a sibling, I live in Texas and can drive to the Houston games, and ECU is just a fun and passionate fan base to be in a conference with.
All the other schools. Like this conference. Also want to be pals with Army, Air Force, CSU and BYU.
