RE: Footballs seat selection
That's the first laugh I've had on here in a while.

I get to pick my seats very soon. Mine done got seatbacked. I guess they're gone too from the sound of it. Are any of y'all in this pic? it's about where my tickets were on the visitor's side. lol

Another reason I like being on the "visiting" side of the stadium is that it helps give a better impression for TV audiences since that is the side which the cameras are aimed at.

By the way, it is untrue that you cannot pay for your seats when you select them. You have a choice between waiting for them to mail you a bill or paying on the spot.

I always wondered where the crotchety old codger section was. Good to know.

RE: Footballs seat selection
My dilemma was that I have had 4 season tickets for years (lots of years) - I saw Archie Manning introduced to the Memphis Tigers from these seats, so a long time. I also am a TSF donor. All good right, well not so much. Well In 2012, I let my brother begin to buy two of those seats since I don't make all of the games coming from GA. So I had my date 3/15 & but was only allowed to make the donation for two seats in my name but my brother would have to wait until his date (3/23) even though it was confirmed through records that I have had 4 seats for over 30 yrs. I offered to pay for all four seats but was declined. On 3/23 best my brother could do was section 101 so he opted for above the ADA aisle near the 50Yd line - without making any donation. So I keep my seats near the 40 yd line with chair backs & donations made but the university loses the donation that my brother & I were willing to make for the seats we have had for years - and worse we don't sit together after 30+ years of doing so. I understood since new seats are 4-5 inches wider than previous we would likely be moved out slightly but this just doesn't seem right even mathematically (by math it would seem I should have had seats nearer the 30-35 yd line).

I go today to select my seats. We are on the east (visitor) side. Anybody that has been, are there still plenty of seats available on this side?

Picked up mine today too - also on the visitor side. Yes, seats are available on that side, especially once you get further away from the 50 yard line. Process went very well.

Maybe it's not a visitor's side after all.
