The reason I'm laughing is because this is what you used to laugh at us about with all the running backs that we had (never mind that two of them are in the NFL right now).

But is this not the same thing? So, let me be you for a moment...

Shall we just go ahead and have the University of Tennessee go ahead and send over the title of Wide Receiver U? Just go ahead and get it out of the way now so they don't have to be embarrassed? Or should we all just make sure every scout in America is on campus? You know so they can take all four starters in the first round as soon as they're eligible. So, riddle me this bat-beed what do goats and receivers have in common? Anyone?

I learned from Middle fans. I stopped short of saying the best wide receiving corps EVER assembled in this conference. Then I would have been a Middle fan.

Now you're just making stuff up.

Come on man. How's the hangover this morning?

That statement was made by a Middle fan and he knows who he is. Whether he comes out and claims it. I'll leave that up to his honor.

My comment was "we may not have an Andrews or Rainey, but we have a stable of running backs unlike any I've seen on a CUSA or Sun Belt team."

Not the best ever assembled in this conference.

Don't sleep on USM. We are very close to being very good. And we're going to lead the league in attendance, too. Playing at the Rock will be pure hell.
Hope everybody's attendance goes up this year. Time to elevate C-USA to the top of the G5.

Hold the brakes. If we have the season we all expect in El Paso we will lead not only CUSA in attendance but we will be in the top five of all G5s. We have two favorable ooc games that should draw 35k-45k in NMSU and Army.

Last season we had the saddest ooc home schedule in the country. One home game against something called incarnate word. Despite having a losing season we still had 23,200. While Southern Miss did have a nice average of 28,335 this years schedule doesn't include a home game against rival P5 member Miss St. They have been replaced by Savanah St.

I agree that we should hope everyone's attendance goes up and hopefully we have a pair of schools who hit over 30k for the year.

If UTSA and UTEP can get over the hump and win some games, they could easily average 30,000. If USM continues to head the right direction, they could easily do it... We should have a packed house for Louisville, but WV weather over the past three years has been just pathetic. Some of the wettest autumns I can remember.

Weather permitting, I can see Louisville as a sellout (38,000 plus), decent crowds for MTSU and WKU (I would predict 28-31,000).. Probably in the 18-20,000 range for Akron and FAU, and somewhere between 15-18,000 for Charlotte and Morgan St. If Marshall ties some kind of ceremony honoring Phil Ratliff in, then that game could bring more than my prediction.

We have seven home games this season, so it will be more difficult to average 30,000 given Morgan State and Akron (not that Akron won't be good this year, but we used to be in the MAC with them.... Kind of a "Been there. Done that." thing, IMHO...
