How many last second losses did Cincinnati have this year? Brutal.

Great call by officials. Ball clearly in hands at buzzer.

that is 6 2 point losses for Cincy. and that doesn't even count last Friday vs UConn....

And yes, it was 100% correct call.

that's fine, but still it's no travesty that they were a 14 seed. Going 18-0 in the junk that was the southland(the 4th worst conference in the country) doesn't overcome that OOC garbage....

Seeding is irrelevant when talking about SFA. They had no shot at being higher than a #12 seed, so either way they were going to play a very good team in the 1st round. That being said if you paid any attention to this teams growth throughout the year, it was obvious that they had the potential to be a buster. Underwood himself even said it was the best of the Lumberjack teams he'd coached.

I have NO problem with them at all. What I have a problem is folks saying it's a travesty that they were a 14 seed, because with the combo of the OOC schedule and how putrid the Southland was, what do you expect?

Right. Obviously SFA year in year out, has to win their conference tournament to have a shot at the tourney. Underwood basically treats nonconference as a set of preseason games to make sure they're going for conference play. But boy does he get them going. In his 3 years there they're 53-1 in conference and haven't lost their tourney.

Odds Underwood remains at SF Austin to me seems like slim and none. He's done a great job there obviously. That's the killer with these programs that win. Their coaches will leave.

Agreed, since Shaka left VCU, Underwood has to be at the top of the list for mid-major coaches. Wouldn't be surprised to see KSU snag him. All the more reason for the Jacks to keep winning though. Enjoy it while it lasts. (Though I'm sure they can find a decent replacement)

The entire year pretty much.

Huggins is hilarious in his press conference. He was asked about SFA pressing and he said "I don't even know why anyone would bother pressing us. It's a waste of energy - we'll throw it to you anyway. We offer one of the most charitable groups in college basketball."

I think the MVC is about to get rocked. Goodbye Marshall and Jacobson. I have a feeling this might be the year Miller parts ways with Dayton, too.

If you want your school to do well in the NCAA tourney next year, tell me your schools name so I don't pick them to win in my bracket.
