Shrewd, this board has proved time and time again that he is incompetent and just happened to be loading his car at the right time. If it had been you or I, we would now be millionaires. Pastner's incompetence is only surpassed by RC's. If nothing else the posters on this board know this.

It's all about the board, the board knows all, the board sees all. Kind of like Santa without the red suit. Of course I'm sure there's a lot of fat ***** on here, that would be like Santa.

Well you seem to be smarter than the rest of us so tell us what we should and should not post.

$10M is still a lot of money. Not sure if it's a ton in paper. Definitely more if it's paid in nickels.

Where are you getting, conservatively, a 5% rate of return throwing off $500,000 in cash off of $10 million?

I get appreciation potential, etc. But cold hard cash? He won't be living on equity appreciation. It'll take cash to pay the bills. Not arguing, just curious.

I can get him an instrument Monday that guarantees 4% return on the first $1M investment. Someone more serious could identify something with slightly higher risk to get a 5% average.

Don't forget the $10M that he's already banked that he can live off of during initial appreciation or vesting. Point being, the first $10M and whatever final settlement from the "resignation" is still money to set him up for life. He takes a solid assistant or lower level job for $250k - he will be fine and content to move on.
