If true for this year I guess that is why I am hearing that season ticket prices are coming down.

Playing a football game at the Cell in 2016 was the rumor that SF denied. Lets see what is said tomorrow.

Hopefully the HAF packets will have pricing info if this is true.

As long as its not a conference game im blah on it, if it is a conference game that would be easily the biggest mistake in the SF era

My money's on NIU playing either Toledo or BG in November at the Cell.

That would be, to steal niu85alum phrase an "unmitigated disaster" You would be very very hard pressed to get 2k people to that game. Not only that, NIU loses any home field advantage with a neutral field game. It just would make no sense, I am confident we didn't drop the ball that largely.

Have to agree. Students carry those games and there is little chance that more than 200 would show up.

Unless its a new opponent and we are dropping WIU, this is not a smart move, at all. NIU will not get over 2k fans with any of these opponents. Obviously no MAC team will exceed 2k fans, and the others would have trouble also. If we have given away SDSU to a neutral field, I hereby declare Schedulepalooza and Frazier as a fraud.

exactly. plus the stadium isn't free. so we NEED a game people will go to.

It is getting really hard to trust NIU leadership these days. We need to get someone in this school that is interested in seeing the program grow and makes moves for the benefit of the school and NOT JUST PERSONAL resumes.
