I have been on record saying that I hope it's UConn/Cincy that gets the call. Will be amusing to see how the rest of realignment plays out afterwards....and for once Big East fans will be able to just sit back and watch haha.

Cincinnati, Memphis, Houston and East Carolina have more history at D1 level. USF and UCF are in a larger tv market than UConn. UConn brings nothing to the Big 12. They do not fit. They belong in the ACC.
You do realize that the state of CT is covered by 2 television DMA's...Hartford/New Haven AND NY. Yes NY DMA..the #1 tv DMA in the country. The same DMA that the b1G is cashing in on with Rutgers. A B-12 network will go on in the NY DMA since it covers CT. UConn also does VERY well in the NY DMA on SNY. So your statement about tv markets and UConn is totally false!
