So you are saying a home a win versus a bubble team erases the last three years?

I don't think you understand why he needs to go.

I think Geoff Calkins is right in saying that a couple of boosters are looking for ANY reason at all to hang on for another year. I think Josh just gave it to them.

He didn't say that.
You know the school is hoping the team can limp along until the buyout is no longer an issue. This win means that becomes a possibility.

I agree. Pastner another year. It makes no sense to fire him when he has a winning record and beat a bubble team. This team could go on a run and win the conference tourney. He's getting paid regardless and it makes no sense to turn the program upside down by firing him and taking a risk on a new coach.

I say he gets 2 more years. At least. If they aren't going to pay 10.6 million they're not going to pay 7.9 either. And who knows. Maybe he catches lightning in a bottle.

Since we are already upside down, if you turn us upside down, we'd be right-side up.

This one win gets him another year? Lot of ball left to be played this season...
Hope we can have a better year next year.

So you mean that he does better with worse quality players than he had when he was recruiting on a high level?

So we hope he can make due with lightning in a bottle when he squandered his opportunities when he had a bird in hand?

The rest of the season has nothing to do with it, his contact does. This season is pretty much over. He is here unless he gets arrested or something drastic like that.

IMHO, it makes sense that he still has chance to save job. This win COMBINED WITH SOME MORE GOOD Ws can give us some momentum. There could be a scenario where Josh needs to stay. I would love to see it happen only because I always want the Tigers to win.
On paper this was a quality win.
I missed game on tv because I unexpectedly needed to go into work.

He will be gone when the school has no other choice. Until the buyout becomes reasonable, he will stay as long as the yearly record stays above 500. Just too big a buyout and the next guy has got to be the RIGHT guy.

There is NO BUYOUT. He will be paid for the next 4 years.

The question is can we afford to play someone else, say $1.3-$1.6 at the same time.
