I have to believe next year will be a better year for CUSA. Marshall, Charlotte, and Rice all look like teams that are making serious improvements with young players. I also think some of the more traditionally good programs like UTEP,La Tech, and ODU will be improved.

I actually think this is going to hurt the non power schools. There are going to be a bunch of 3-6 loss teams near the top when all is said and done, and the middle of the conference teams are going to have a loss or two less than they normally would because of this. You start looking at the power conference standings and realize for the most part no teams have separated themselves from the pack. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out, but I don't see it being good for the teams outside the big name conferences.
