Attendance: 6211 for Saturday night Bartow Classic. Sure seemed like more than Thursday night (6664)...but it was a lively crowd!

RE: C-USA home attendance avgs...
As I was waiting on the rest of my group to meet at the door after the game, I had to move over to allow the young lady to use her phone light to view the turnstile counter, then watched her write the number down on a small scrap piece of paper. There is no way each turnstile is reported accurately, nor every scrap piece of paper accounted for during the final tally. I too think there was more Saturday night than Thursday night, as the ends and corners were noticably fuller.

I'm surprised and happy that the end of our win streak didn't send the attendance numbers spiraling down. I really thought it would.

It's nice to see the attendance in the 6,000s.

Even against a no-name opponent in a blowout it was a fun game...the coat toss, all the dunks and watching the team (and crowd) get behind Thomas Smallwood...everyone seemed to have a BIG time

Have anyone noticed the attendance at some of these AAC games? They've been pretty underwhelming.

The Memphis number is a joke. A reporter got a turnstile count for Saturdays Cincinnati game and it was around 7000. It was also said to be one of the better attended games of the year.

Yeah, I mentioned this in another thread. FAU has only had 5 D1 home games all season so far. It's pretty sad.

Exactly right. It does not matter who UAB is playing. If Bartow Arena is even 75% full, it's s great time. This is what we need more people to realize

We have over two weeks to sell out Bartow for the last homestand with Marshall & WKU. Both need a sound thrashing.

I can only imagine the beating WKU will receive when 11 guys are determined to get Robert Brown a win on senior night.

The bottom 3 teams combined are averaging 3051. This is high school level B.S. Why did those 3 schools get an invite into C-USA?

Football, perhaps.

If we average 7,800 for the last two games, we can get the season average over 5k. Let's make it happen!

That and there's the revenge factor.
