Wow! Nice.

On TV it sounded like a pretty large crowd towards the end.

Per box score via Espn 6,664 - that's ticket sold which is what every school goes by regardless of no-shows...after our road wins at ODU and Charlotte the UAB ticket office experienced a large spike in online ticket sales...and that comes from an employee

Solid crowd. Would have looked better at beginning had it not started until 7. No choice when you get get on the tube though.

With the game on ASN though, there may have been almost more people at the game than watching on television.

Yeah. There were a lot of people who filtered in during the first half. Good crowd overall. I'd love to have more Saturday night though.

I think we'll have a pretty good crowd Saturday. I've seen a couple of commercials for that game, it's a special game since it's the Bartow Classic, and it's not on TV.

I got off work at 7, still watched the end of the game live. These 6 pm starts don't work for me.

Attendance: 6664 Not bad for a 6pm tip-off on a weeknight against a no-name opponent. Looks like folks are beginning to come see the Blazers, not the opponent. I hope for a BIG crowd on Sat nite!

How many do you think are here? I suck at estimating this stuff.
I'm not great at it, but the crowd looks awful
Half full would be about 4,250. for every person I see, I see more than one empty seat

i take it back. it did fill out and turn into a decent crowd. they werent there at the tip, but they showed eventually

I think the tip off time through some people off. I thought the game started at 7 but I didn't realize it was a TV game and the start time was pushed up to a 6 pm start.

Lots of confusion about that...

Same here. I made it to Bartow when there was just about 10 minutes left in the second half.

I agree about the 6pm tip. I can usually get off of work by 5:30pm if I need to, but that doesn't leave much time to make it up to UAB and get parked. I was in the building by tip, but didn't make it to my seat until a minute or two in.

That's about 3 games straight with >6,000 in attendance. That should be helping our average. I would think for games against Marshall and WKU at home we should be able to finish out the home schedule with a couple more good attendance nights.
