Not sure why it isn't...but if anything it would have hit the upright (if extended). All a review would've down in this case would be to say the call stands...the B1G fans and ACC Haters can stop whining now.
So, by whining about Big Ten fans and ACC Haters, you expect to get whining to stop? Take your own advice and perhaps it will. Keep whining about supposed whining and it likely doesn't.
I saw the video...at best it would've hit the upright...so with your logic this proves the ACC is a strong league.
Actually Duke was picked preseason to challenge for their division title. What preseason predictions were there for Indiana? They were expected to be Indiana.
So the perceived stronger team won in this fashion and that proves the ACC is a strong league?
My statement was that a team with a losing record, Nebraska, beat a team in UCLA that was in a lot of people's early predictions to possibly be in the Playoff this year.
It is the difference of a massive underdog running all over UCLA vs the team that was supposed to win only doing so because of a very shaky call.
Yeah, sorry but your logic fails once again, you let your emotions get the best of you because you took the whiny comment personally and defensively.
UCLA was overhyped and overrated from day 1 (when 4+5 star recruits leave without warning it tells you something)...it means nothing other than UCLA was an enigma. Nebraska received preseason votes so it isn't like they were expected to be horrible.

Everything is a huge personal affront to you. Duke received a whole 6 votes in the USAToday preseason poll.

I thought it just missed real time. But it looked good by a foot or so on the replay.
Nope...camera angles skew it. The ref is under the bar and has the best view. I do agree a review should happen in cases like this. They can still screw it up...though-->Toledo/Cuse

You wish that were true. It is much more simple than that though. I simply called out your comment. It is obvious by your language though that the whole situation is a huge personal affront to you and now you are trying to project that upon me.
It is pretty sad that a team that received so few votes in a preseason poll that doesn't matter was also talked about in regards to possibly winning their division. I assure you, no one talked about Indiana when it came to possibly winning The Big Ten East.
That isn't personal, that's just how it is.

Sorry, no matter how you try to spin it....Nebraska's win over UCLA is a much bigger deal than Duke's controversial win over Indiana.

I took the Nebraska win as UCLA not caring enough since they went from possibly playing in the PAC 12 game to a matchup with a 5-7 Nebraska team. Grant it, the Cornhuskers were stronger than their records shows and while I picked UCLA to win the bowl, I wasn't shocked by the end result.
Heck, Nebraska could have been 8-4 or 9-3 this season.
If Nebraska had blown them out, then yes I would agree with you but UCLA was trying to compete as the score shows us. Nebraska ran right over them. Nebraska also beat a team that is in the Playoff.
Trying to say that this is simply UCLA not trying, I dont agree with that.
I think UCLA tried, but not to their fullest extent that is wht I said not caring enough. I view the game like the Sugar Bowl with Alabama and Oklahoma a few years ago. Alabama played, but it was lackluster.
Nebraska is definitely much better than their record showed.

Ummm no...neither one is that big of a deal other than it could be a springboard for next year for the teams that played.

Yes it is, Bowl Season is the best way to compare Conferences because we get end of season competition between the Major Conferences to a degree that is never matched during the season.
Let me guess, you are expecting another poor performance by the ACC and thus you are simply trying to set the scene to downplay that performance later on?

dude...get a clue. It was the third quarter ass whipping Nebraska put on UCLA that won that game for Nebraska. Was it 280 some yards to 1 in the thrid quarter? UCLA only got to run 6 plays in the third quarter.
UCLA tried to win but got beat up in the trenches, the way Nebraska has won for decades. Once people realize that a dominate run game is the real identity of Nebraska and they focus on that, they will obliterate the majority of college football again besides some of the elite teams that the south produces any random year or a team like Ohio State or Michigan.

Hey buddy,
I have nothing against Nebraska and I admire their history and hospitality. But I do think UCLA didn't take them as seriously as they should have and Nebraska made them pay. Congratulations. There is no need to be salty. You won the Foster Farms Bowl not the National Championship. I look forward to the rise of a Nebraska running game again. It adds diversity to college football.
Besides, at least, I know how to spell the name of my team correctly.
