If that's the case, then Houston will draw from the top of the pile of leftovers... Memphis will get someone no one else is interviewing.

Memphis will get someone from the Fuente coaching tree like Barry Odom, Dickey, Blankenship, etc that will keep the team together, and run the same offense.
