They must have sacrificed a thousand children to Baal to win these games.

Nope, that would be Penn State.

Well played, my SEC friend.

That's okay. But we are more tribal than idolatrous. We follow the totem of the Eagle, we do not worship at the altar of a golden bull. The totem represents the spirit of flight, gracefulness, and power. The golden bull represented fertility. I would hardly call our effort today fertile. Just review your Malinowski and Durkheim and you'll be fine.

The 3:30 games look pretty lackluster. Might as well.

I'm glad their failures count toward the B1G now.

Face it. The whole day is lackluster except for Tennessee / Oklahoma and Oregon / Michigan State. There is a trend so far this year that I'll shoot you a PM on later this weekend.

BGSU should have scored another TD to make it 55-27 -- but they were nice to let the clock run out right by the goal line.

This should be a yearly contest. We can call it the P5 Athletic Department Toilet Bowl. See trophy below:

To be fair, Virginia looked to be pretty good but inexperienced last week at the Rose Bowl, don't expect them to be giants but definitely to put up a solid season.
