This Week In Schadenfreude -- Week 2 - georgia_tech_swagger - 09-09-2015 08:33 PM
Renaming these threads since everybody gets caught up on the word "laughable".
Reminder as to what qualifies:
- FCS over FBS always
- DII over FCS always
- Vegas spread getting blown out of the water (3+ TDs)
- Unranked over ranked
- At this point, anybody in FBS losing to Georgia State
- G5 over P5 nearly always (yes, even tur'ble P5's)
--- Except when the G5 is ranked or nearly ranked
Scores of games in progress that qualify or nearly qualify are encouraged, though it is generally good manners to wait until the 2nd quarter unless it is a really eye opening score (think App State - Michigan).

How about anybody beating Ohio State? I think they are prohibitive favorites until they play Michigan State.

How about anybody losing to College of Faith-Charlotte, College of Faith-Arkansas and University of Faith-Florida? That would be bad to lose to one of these scam schools which is why the Faith No More NCAA rule of not countable games.

East Tennessee St just restarted football, and this is their second game. But still, they played a D3 school.

They were also hammered by a team playing in its very first game last week, so honestly, I'd say nothing involving ETSU losing would be considered laughable. It's not unprecedented for a first or second-year D-I program to lose to a D-II or lower school.

Yeah, it's completely understandable to lose the game, and I wouldn't really consider it laughable either. But I happened to notice the score and it fits the rules for posting here, so I figured I share it. I'm sure most posters here don't look at FCS scores much (if at all) and even in seeing the score may not realize it was against a D3 school.
