My God, I hope Fleck shows that to the players tomorrow. What a dumb thing to do. Hang 50 on these idiots.

Is this the coach? media guy?
All I can hear in my head is Keith Jackson saying..."And here come the Men in Blue..."

Just a Georgia Southern Fan who has been doing these for each game for as long as I have been following Eagle Football.

That guy is awesome. But his prediction is way off. Everybody who has success in 1AA thinks it will automatically translate to D-1, but it often levels off. See Old Dominion. I think we will go pass happy on them in the second half and they just won't be able to keep up on the scoreboard.

System teams are great when they have veterans in the system, but not so great when learning on the job.

Not disagreeing with your point as we'll see what happens tomorrow, but I'm not sure if I understand your comment about ODU. They just restarted their program in '09 and last year was their first in FBS. They went 6-6 (4-4 CUSA) and I think that's pretty damn good.

Now we know what a Phi Beta Kappa PJ would sound like!

And I didn't know Benito Mussolini was an alum. I was somewhat irked by his bust.

Well, I just added it to my site to view (http://www.bro.coach). It is nice to see GA-Southern's assumptions/pride.

Will be a tough game.

I labeled it as "EVIL GA-Southern" lol (Hey, it's a video of them promoting themselves!)

There's a pretty good chance of rain and a cold front coming through, so they won't be bad. May not be any.

I hate to disappoint you, but he'll be talking about The Citadel. 03-drunk Usually, your forum would be inundated with folks jawing, but there's just not much fire this week.

"Cold" down in Georgia will be of no worry to us at all (the "colder" the better in summer for our team down there) -- but rain? Not good to have going against a running team when we will need to have a good passing game to win.

I have to say, I can't argue with him. From the MSU game, there's some concerns to take from it... and GA-Southern being judged as a whole based on their WV game -- when it's at home in Their House... yikes. I can easily see it being 31-30, GAS in the end. It's a toss-up game, IMO. I can't argue with someone who says GA-Southern has the edge... nor how WMU has the edge (passing) and that we can't be too down on ourselves giving ~200 yards up on the ground to MSU despite us being on the field longer, as MSU is a beast and us & GA-Southern are not.

Gnats? With grits that's a pre game meal in them thar parts.

Gnats are thick most any where south of Macon/Milledgeville. Go about another hour south down I 75 and they are the equivalent of flying Pirranah. Your willing to jump into an open septic tank just to get away.

Sad thing is, oddsmakers had us favored. They rarely are off that bad, even early.

RE: Greeting from Stateboro
I did not get to see the game live so I did check the score on the game and did not know the outcome until I watch the replay of the game. I feel like WMU has a very good well coached team but just ran into a perfect storm on Saturday in Stateboro. Best of Luck with the rest of your season an I will also be looking foward to our return visit to your place next year.
