Great work Chuck!!!

Outside of Ohio State, and possibly MSU, the Big Ten is weak.

Only reason MSU beat Oregon is because the Duck QB had a broken index finger on his throwing hand. .

Illinois way wide-right on a field goal just before halftime. Carolina 20-7 at the half.

It was a 57-yarder. Expected to miss. CMU kicked one of 51ish and hit the crossbar (in an indoor arena).

Did you see it though? It was closer to the corner of the end zone than it was to the crossbar. Should have just thrown a pass into the end zone. A dang coaching mistake, as the sage John L Smith would have said.

Yeah, I saw it. HUGE miss. Seemed to have enough leg to possibly get it in, but just REALLY wide. He's hit a 54 yarder, though. IMO, a better chance to hit a FG.

If they were BYU, then I would have said toss it in the endzone. :)

They left a lot of points on the field, had a chance to make it close without those mistakes.

We made it close against State despite those mistakes. Lost by 13, Connaire.

Could easily be 48-28 right now with Illinois making a bid to comeback late in the game. Just a game of inches.

I'm shocked at Illinois' lack of O. Surprised at their D or lack thereof, but Shocked at no O, except that 1 drive with a huge run by their RB.

UNC is probably better as they almost beat SC.... but still. Should be interesting the rest of the season. I think they won't be a disaster -- but this isn't a good sign for them.

48-7 is sad.

Way worse than our performance against Georgia Southern.

Someone said earlier that it was NC-10, so our score is actually a respectable North Carolina 48 Illinois 17.

LOL!!!

Illinois left a lot of points on the field, in the red zone four times and came away with no points. Easily could have been a W for them.

They were 10 point dogs, we were favored over GASO.

Even with 4 td's in the red zone thats 48-35 Tar Heels.

Had Illinois taken advantage of the 4 td's in the red zone along with 7 safeties, they'd have the lead.

Yeah, but UNC let up after they got up by 20+, played it more as a scrimmage.
